Hi All!
It’s been over a month since I have posted anything due to various reasons. First I want to wish all of you a prosperous and happy new year 2008 and good luck on all your en devours.
There has been lots on my plate over the last month. Everything ranging from expecting a new baby to being up to my neck in code [exhausted expression on face]
Never the less I have a few cool projects lined up which I will share with you:
Reyco1 Framework:
As I started to port some of my AS2 classes to AS3, I saw it to be beneficial to just make an AS3 framework out of the whole thing and host it on Google Code for others to share and edit. At the moment, framework is in it’s infancy stages yet still useful. Some of the features are:
ProjectsPanel
A little over a year ago, Grant Skinner created a Project Panel component called “gPanel“. When I read about it and it’s features I immediately just said “WOW!”
I thought I’d challenge myself and create a similar Panel with some more custom features. The Panel uses Yahoo’s Astra tree component. Here’s a sneak peak:

COMING SOON!

Adobe Bordeaux is the codename for a new product for graphic designers, art directors, etc. who don’t need all the capabilities of Flash to create flash content easily without knowing ActionScript or programming.
Here is some of the stuff it can do:
Sounds a lot like what Thermo can do except it some some added functionality and features that are not present in Thermo. What do you guys think?

If you take a gander over at the sidebar, you will notice a new “My Widgets” section. That section will hold my latest web widget goodness! I had a client earlier this year for whom I created a widget using papervision and have been wanting to make one of my own but never had the time.
Well, I was able to spare a couple of hours today and decided to create one. The widget is called “Reyco1’s Blog Widget” and its basically an rss reader fixed on my posts. It’s not very appealing visually as you may have noticed, never the less it does the job ;). I’m pretty sure I’ll get around to enhancing it later on.
I have plans of basically enhancing it to the point where you can add any rss feed, customize its colors and appearance and more! Still in it’s alpha stages but if you wanna add it to your MySpace, Facebook, your site or whatever, just copy and paste this code. Keep checking as I have a few more kick @$$ widget ideas
Happy coding!
